Two dives again today! On our research dive we had to run a transect, count coral in a quadrat and make a circular quadrat. There were lots of colourful corals! The second dive site we went to had different type of coral. "We saw a turtle off in the distance, then the instructor motioned us down and in a crevice was another turtle sleeping! We watched and he poked his head out, looked around sleepily and then gracefully and slowly took off. We followed it quite a ways. Then we saw another one eating the coral, so cool!" 10 years ago today I logged my 10th dive.
