I had never been to a resort before and being able to wander around the grounds was so nice. "It's sad we don't see much of the group, I'm used to us all being so confined and being together all the time, it feels odd." I went swimming in the ocean, "It's so warm it's like bath water!" and swimming in the pool. I did some studying for PADI, I was so excited to be learning to scuba dive. Our marine biology class is being taught by a group of Kenyan professors from a local university. The resort buffet food was not as good as our camp food. 10 years ago today I got the taste for luxurious four star resort living, although the sudden transition from camping felt a bit jarring.
