This morning we went to the KWS headquarters at the Nairobi National Park. KWS is Kenyan Wildlife Services and they conserve and manage the wildlife in Kenya. We had a presentation about their conservation efforts. There was a baby animal orphanage there, but I thought I would feel bad about seeing animals in rusty cages after just getting back from the Masai Mara, so I decided not to go in. A few of us walked around and looked at the wild warthogs that were running around by the parking lot! I felt a sense of sadness all day, I was sad that we'd be leaving our staff and I even felt sad about leaving the tents! We've been camping for about 8 weeks now and I really enjoyed it! 10 years ago today I slept in my sleeping bag in our tent for the last time.
