This morning was a second trip to the Masai Market to spend more of our tourist dollars on souvenirs. In addition to money, I had pens, small toys and my bandanna's to trade with. Back at the compound we spent a lot of time lounging by the pool. I hopped in with some girls and learned how to snorkel. "It was a lot of fun, I snorkeled around the pool for an hour!" In the evening we had a little arts and crafts session to make the staff thank you cards since they're not coming with us to the coast. 10 years ago today I first learned how to snorkel, a skill that I've developed into becoming a rescue diver!
